Blender Texture Not Showing In Unity
The model is showing up but i got no textures.

I have uv unwrapped the model and created a custom texture pattern to suit. Upon loading my model into unity however the textures simply do not appear. Textures not showing when importing fbx from blender into unity. The materials are there the bones everything.

What you can do in some situations is use blender to bake textures that you can later use in the final destination or receiving application to create materials there not inside blender. Since you seem to have some familiarity with blender i d forget using fbx for unity. I ve tried applying the texture in blender and then exporting it creates a basic diffuse material in unity with no texture attached and i ve tried applying the texture in unity after importing.
The file was exported as a fbx in blender. It works great in blender. In blender i made a model and baked the textures into a single image. Finally export your model probably fbx is the best available option when working with blender and unity.
I m trying to learn how to use unity or unity3d so i m tried to export the model to this program and i failed. If you painted your models using materials and textures inside blender then you have to make the materials using the exact same textures inside unity too and apply them to your import. But the textures which are present in blender are not to be seen. Or let unity handle the blend file i keep my blend files away from the unity assets directory long story and only place there the fbx export.
I tried to export it to blender as well and i had the same problem. For some reason the image texture won t line up where it s supposed to go. On unity i can only see the model of the car but i cannot see any textures. Unity supports blend files directly.
I imported my model as an fbx into unity and then dragged in its image texture material. I exported it to 3ds and obj. But the textures i have applied in blender do not render in unity even in the preview screen. It s showing the color materials just fine so i don t believe i have any problem with my normals.
Blender just needs to know where the texture files are located so as soon as you re assign them in blender they will show up mapped to the proper places on your mesh. I ve inserted the textures into unity however this just loads them how unity feels not how i d like it to look.
